LIGNIA® certified as low-emission timber in US, again
LIGNIA's award-winning timber continues to be tested over a range of categories by leading laboratories across North America, Europe and the UK. We are delighted to announce that the Georgia-based emissions test body Materials Analytical Services, LLC (MAS) has accredited LIGNIA with its MAS Certified Green® Program again for 2021 to 2022. The report from MAS indicates that LIGNIA® is in compliance with the California Dept of Public Health Method standard (CDPH), the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) and the LEED v4 programs. Which is great news for those seeking LEED credits.
This means that LIGNIA’s modified wood has been verified as a low-emission lumber product and is safe for use in schools and public buildings across the US, as it has passed the rigorous testing according to the CDPH standard.
Lisa Ayala, LIGNIA's US Sales Manager commented: “In terms of VOC emissions we know that LIGNIA is very safe to use in interiors and so it’s excellent news to see accreditation again proving this. LIGNIA continues to be specified by US architects into commercial, public and residential applications.”
