LIGNIA Wood Company partners with key North American distributors
Access to legally sourced FSC®-certified LIGNIA wood products across the North American market continues through key distribution partnerships
LIGNIA® Wood Company continues to support its distribution partnerships including National Wood Products and Thompson Mahogany and East Teak Fine Hardwoods in the midst of this challenging time. In addition, the company just recently signed on with Hardwoods Specialty Products. All distribution companies will stock LIGNIA, LIGNIA Fire, and in some cases LIGNIA Yacht.
“LIGNIA is so unique with the features and benefits it has to offer including a Class A fire rating,” said Howard Hughes, general manager at National Wood Products. “That coupled with the staff at LIGNIA, they are very customer service centric and have a great understanding of the North American lumber industry.”
LIGNIA Fire carries a Class A ASTM-E 84 rated for flame retardancy, mitigating the need for after-market fire retardancy applications. Both LIGNIA and LIGNIA Fire offer a broader construction audience to build with a wood that can stand the test of time with a 50-year above ground warranty against rot and decay.
“We’re excited about LIGNIA and to have something new that the market doesn’t know about yet,” said Nathan Hascher, sales executive at Thompson Mahogany and East Teak. “It’s important to all divisions within our group of companies that we offer a high-end building material that can supply our various markets: raw lumber, machining and even finished product. Plus, the natural fire retardancy gives us a leg up, particularly for siding applications.”
LIGNIA is real wood made with legally sourced FSC®-certified softwoods from managed plantations. After its modification process the wood, featuring high-durability and beauty, matches or exceeds the performance of tropical hardwoods.
