LIGNIA signs new European distributor, Hout-Bois van Steenberge N.V.

We are delighted to announce that we have signed a major distribution agreement with Hout-Bois van Steenberge.

Based in Belgium, the non-exclusive agreement means Hout-Bois van Steenberge will be supplying LIGNIA to customers in Europe, except for the Nordic countries, UK and Ireland.

About our new distributor

Established in 1903, Hout-Bois van Steenberge has evolved dramatically over its almost 120-year existence.

From traditional wood trade to a true partner of the wood trade, building materials merchants and civil engineering sectors, it now ships, saws and supplies wood and sheet materials across the continent.

As the leading timber and panel importer in Benelux and France, Hout-Bois van Steenberge imports softwood from all over Europe, as well as wood panels on a global scale.

A modified wood specialist, our new distributor will be selling LIGNIA wood to the European construction sector.

A new partnership

We are pleased to note that Hout-Bois van Steenberge is already placing orders, and we are organising specialist training for its European sales teams.

Our Commercial Director, Steve Rogers, said: “We are really delighted to be working with such a proactive distributor for the Benelux markets and beyond. Hout-Bois van Steenberge already has a great deal of experience in selling modified timber and is well established in the Benelux region, working with architects to drive product specification.”

Jean-Pierre Noel, CEO of Hout-Bois van Steenberge said: "We are delighted to introduce LIGNIA to the Benelux and French markets. We are convinced that with the quality of LIGNIA and the know-how we have on the market, we can offer our customers the best LIGNIA solutions.”
